Plot. Cundo emigrated to Argentina to seek a new life. Ten years later he returns home to Asturias, to the funeral of an old friend, Suso. The film chronicles the reunion with family and friends and how Cundo wants to fulfill the ultimate dream of Suso. The film is a tribute to friendship.
The difficulty of returning home to confront old griefs, parents’ narrow-mindedness and ex-girlfriends is explored with brio in this comedy starring Javier Cámara (usually seen in Almodóvar!) and set in Spain’s Asturias region. An ode to friendship full of gags, discoveries and wild ventures.
