   Very nice castle with an excellent view over the city. Well kept environment and the icing on the cake: it's freely accessible. We didn't visit the museum however, which probably isn't free. But if you're in the city, definitely recommended!

   Is the old town of Stolberg worth a visit?

   • The old town of Stolberg looks charming, especially the castle is supposed to be the highlight. We were here on a Sunday, and to be honest, there wasn't anything to do that made us decide to stay longer than necessary. A real pity. I guess that the old part of Stolberg can be compared with Monschau, approx. 20 km South.
