About Us. The Waddill Family of Kansas City opened Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery in 1968. They developed a 140-acre cemetery for the Northland and later added a 6,500-square-foot funeral home. In 1981, an affiliate of Service Corporation International acquired the funeral home and cemetery.
