Gym Leaders & Elite Four. In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire you battle through the usual eight gyms before taking on the Elite Four. Unlike recent games, in OR/AS the Elite Four must be completed in order, like the original Ruby/Sapphire.
- Rustoboro City. Location: Rustboro City. Gym Leader: Roxanne. Specialty: Rock-type. Reward: Stone Badge, TM39. The first gym is located in Rustboro City and is a Rock-type Gym.
- Dewford Town. Location: Dewford Town. Gym Leader: Brawly. Specialty: Fighting-type. Reward: Knuckle Badge, TM08. The second gym is located in the island of Dewford Town in the south-west of the region and is a Fighting-type Gym.
- Mauville City. Location: Mauville City. Gym Leader: Wattson. Specialty: Electric-type. Reward: Dynamo Badge, TM72. The third gym is located in Mauville City and is an Electric-type Gym.
- Lavaridge Town. Location: Lavaridge Town. Gym Leader: Flannery. Specialty: Fire-type. Reward: Heat Badge, TM50. The fourth gym is located in the mountainside town of Lavaridge Town and is a Fire-type Gym.
To escape, simply walk directly down form the Gym Leader, and jump over the ledges. In order to defeat Winona, you need an Electric type, or a good Electric attack. You’ll also need a good Ice-type attack for her Altaria.
