Dec 18, 2023 · 2013 S5 Manual transmission issues (grinding) Hello everyone, So I just took my s5 to the stealership to have the transmission looked at. Its been getting louder and louder recently. A sort of grinding, low growl in all gears at low RPM. Additionally, when I put it in neutral and let the clutch pedal out, there is another distinctive grinding.
May 9, 2017 · The shift cables- one pulls it counter clockwise, one pulls it clockwise. Get the shift bar moved so the scoot is in neutral. Use second set of hands to keep the shift handle gear indicator to neutral (line the dot up halfway between one and 2). Pull the cables snug and lightly tighten them down.
