    • Pedernales Falls State Park. Pedernales Falls is a stunning park known for its 300 million year old limestone ledges, waterfalls and hiking trails. Not only does this park have great trails, but you can also swim in certain areas, making it a wonderful place to cool off from the Texas heat.
