The fifth and final season is about a military-science expedition team fighting against the Wraith from their base of operation, Atlantis. The Wraith primary goal is to gather a fleet to invade Atlantis and find their new "feeding ground", Earth .
In season 5, the Atlantis Stargate explodes from the Ancient anti-wraith hyperdrive device, but in the next episode they suddenly have a new one. I could have missed it, but I didn't hear any clue as to where it was taken from. Any thoughts? I figured that it must be from a random uninhabited planet, or the remnants of the intergalactic bridge
