May 21, 2024 · If you're a victim of fraud, or if you're having trouble resolving an issue with a business, file a consumer complaint to get help you need. The Ohio Attorney General's Office provides a free, informal process to resolve disputes between consumers and businesses.
To further assist consumers and businesses, the section also provides consumer education, business education and a free informal dispute resolution process to resolve consumer complaints, including complaints related to identity theft.
Some consumer complaints involving used car sales, installment loans, collection calls, identity theft, vehicle repairs are referred to the Ohio Attorney General. Complaints include everything from advertising issues to disputes about prices, services, auto titles, or repairs.
