St Peter's Seminary, Cardross, was in use for a mere fourteen years, from 1966 to 1980. After it closed it briefly became a rehabilitation centre, then a contentious and celebrated ruin. A mythology grew up around it like the foliage that entwined it, and debate raged in the media.
