Mar 10, 2023 · We had a first ever mixed football match after school today against bishop Lonsdale primary school. Both teams performed brilliantly with both teams getting a 4-3 win each. Well done everybody 👏🏻 it was fantastic to watch.
There are five state schools located in the village. Primary Schools – Asterdale (south-east), Borrow Wood (north-east), St. Werburgh's C of E and Springfield. Secondary Schools – West Park School. West Park School represents the merger of the former Spondon School (seniors) (State Comprehensive) which was located on two adjoining sites.
