  2. St Robert of Newminster Catholic School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form located in Washington in the City of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England. The school is named after Saint Robert of Newminster. As a Catholic school it is under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.

  3. As from week commencing 30th November, Year 7 will have access to the cafeteria in school where they can purchase hot food. Students are able to purchase a 2 course meal deal and a drink for £2.20.

  5. Robert of Newminster ( c. 1100 –1159) was a priest, abbot, and a saint of the Catholic Church. He was born in Gargrave in Yorkshire, England. He was one of the monks who founded Fountains Abbey and is named from the abbey he founded in Morpeth, Northumberland.
