St Mungo's Academy is a Roman Catholic, co-educational, comprehensive, secondary school located in Gallowgate, Glasgow. The school was founded in 1858 by the Marist Brothers religious order. The debate team at St Mungo's were the first Scottish team to represent the UK at the World Parliamentary Debate Competition, which they won.
Football - Football teams compete at each age group level within St-Mungo’s Academy with football teams participating in a variety of league and cup competitions. 7 a side football is also available for s1-s3 boys with frequent training and tournaments taking place.

Dec 19, 1997 · St Mungo’s leader amongst men. Willie McLaughlin was an English teacher at St Mungo’s Academy in the East End of Glasgow when I was a pupil there in the 1960s. He wasn’t my class teacher - I really got to know him at the debating society when I was in the fifth year. Then St Mungo’s was a Catholic senior secondary school for boys.
