  2. The Spy Kids series is a series of family action-adventure films created by Robert Rodriguez. The main plot follows the adventures of two Cortez children who become involved in their parents' espionage. The rest of their family are spies as well, including their estranged uncle Machete and maternal grandparents.

    • Harriet the Spy (1996) Available to stream now on Starz, Roku, and Spectrum on Demand. In 1996, a very young Michelle Trachtenberg starred in the Nickelodeon movie based on the classic children's novel Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh.
    • Cars 2 (2011) Available to stream now on Disney+. When critics are ranking their favorite Pixar movies from the acclaimed animation studio, Cars 2 almost always ranks near the bottom.

    • Spy Kids. Obviously the original is number one, come on. The first Spy Kids has so much going for it, from its incredible behind-the-scenes facts to its stellar cast to the story that is enjoyable for both adults and kids – there’s so much to love about it.
    • Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over. I have a special place in my heart for Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over. Yes, I know that when it was initially released the critics didn’t like it as much, but let me tell you, as a kid – which is who the movie was marketed towards – I loved this film, way more than the second.
    • Spy Kids 2: The Island Of Lost Dreams. Alright, here me out before the pitchforks come my way, but I really don’t like the second film in the Spy Kids franchise.
    • Spy Kids: Armageddon. When I found out that the Spy Kids franchise was being rebooted, I didn’t know how to feel at first. As I said before, I wasn’t a huge fan of the attempt at a new movie in 2011, and I didn’t know if making a new movie at Netflix was going to be a good idea.
