This course is open to students who have passed the Level 2 Award in Spirits, or the Spirits of the World unit (Unit 4) of the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits. The WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits is an advanced-level qualification for professionals and enthusiasts wishing to acquire a detailed understanding of the spirits of the world and develop the tasting skills required to accurately describe and evaluate a spirit.
The level 3 exam has 3 components: 30 minutes tasting exam. This exam is closed book and you will analyse two spirits. A two hour, closed book, written exam comprising: A 50 multiple choice questions. 10 short answer questions. You’ll need to pass all 3 components in order to pass the examination.
