Solent Sky depicts the incredible story of aviation in Hampshire with more than 20 aeroplanes from the golden age of aviation. Visitors can sit in jet fighter cockpits and walk through the giant Sandringham Flying Boat.
Definitely worth spending several hours here by any aviation or history fan, the museum is handily located some blocks from the main shopping street of Southampton. The building is over two levels and well uses its available space for hanging static vintage aircraft above those on ground level.
