How to get here: Spike Island is reached by ferry from Kennedy Pier, Cobh. The heritage town of Cobh is just 24 minutes by train or 25 minutes by car from Cork city centre. Parking is recommended at the Five Foot Way (10-minute walk) or Cobh Cathedral car park (15-minute walk). Allow at least 20 minutes to park and walk to the ferry.
Parking. Monday to Friday, 10am-4.30pm: 30 minutes free parking, £1 per hour for up to 3 hours. Saturdays, 9am-7pm: 30 minutes free parking, £1 per hour for up to 3 hours. Bank Holidays: FREE. There are three blue badge spaces available directly outside the main entrance of Spike Island.
