Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. is the American entertainment subsidiary of Sony Entertainment Inc., a subsidiary of Japanese multinational technology and media conglomerate Sony.
Sony Pictures co-produced Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Spider-Man 4 with Marvel Studios. They also have co-distribution deals with Disney in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Greece. Sony Pictures Entertainment serves as the parent of Columbia Pictures.

Spider-Man and other Marvel Characters
Sony Pictures had been involved with Marvel's Spider-Man franchise before Disney acquired Marvel. It optioned script versions of a Spider-Man film from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer via Columbia Pictures in April 1999. The film would eventually become the 2002 Spider-Man film.

This is a list of movies produced for the U.S. cable channel Disney Channel. Such movies are currently called Disney Original Movies, as of March 2023. They were previously known as Disney Channel Premiere Films since October 1983 and Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOM) from October 1997 to September 2022.
Launched on April 18, 1983 under the name The Disney Channel as a premium channel on top of basic cable television systems, it originally showcased programming towards families due to availability of home television sets locally at the time.
