    Outline

    Franklin

That night, prior to the previous episode, the Family has arrived at the Angelus Funeral Home and as Leon and some of the guys were unloading Jerome's body, Franklin explained to the funeral director that he wanted Jerome's cadaver ready as discreetly as possible and without alerting the cops, while offering him a wad of cash. The director accepted the bribe and agreed, claiming he would treat his deceased uncle the same way he treated his father. Leon and another man are rolling in Jerome on a stretcher with a bloodied and broken-hearted Louie following behind, and the funeral director takes over for Leon. They prepare to take Jerome's body to the backroom and as Louie was still following, the director stopped her, explaining they would need some time alone with her late husband, and promised to have him ready for burial in a day or two. Leon, Skully, and another Blood approached behind and Louie, who refused to be separated from her late husband, was being held back by Leon while a staff member was guarding the path. Franklin was listening as Louie was crying out with hysteria who was calling out Jerome's name. The front door slams shut as Leon is pulling Louie away while she was fighting to get back inside to her husband, but was a futile effort on her end.

    Louie

Leon has arrived with Louie at her home in the hills. He pulled up in the driveway and exited the front seat then went to the passenger side where a distraught Louie was and extended his hand after opening the door. Louie took his hand as she exited the vehicle and approached her home, reeling from the events that turned her into a widow. As Louie pulled out her keys and was about to unlock the front door, Leon asked her if he needed to contact Buckley or anyone else. Instead, Louie pointed out that the war with Kane was done. Leon then offered to stick around if she wanted company, but Louie insisted he'd take off as she entered her home, leaving Leon to return to his car. Louie is now in her home and approached a horse statue with a display of the presents she and Jerome received on their wedding day. She then turned her head and gazed upon a portrait of her and Jerome on their wedding. Knowing full well she lost the man she had been married to for a short time, she let out a sob, but stopped and approached a mirror to see the damage Kane has done to her, including the brand he left upon her chest. She further broke into tears after seeing what she was put through leading up to Jerome's death.

    Teddy

Over at his safehouse, Teddy received a phone call from Havemeyer being informed that Rubén as evaded the CIA near the Sherman Oaks Galleria, despite Teddy's recent threats. Teddy stated they knew what it was Rubén wanted and stated that either he would surface or disappear. Teddy then requested further contact should Havemeyer have anymore intel. Teddy then hung up and closed the window curtains. Parissa then appeared asked if there was a problem and Teddy stated there wasn't as he grabbed a duffel bag off the coffee table. Parissa then asked why he didn't have food in his refrigerator, or any nice décor when he was in possession of the $73 million dollars, noting some of the negativities to the home. Teddy told her he rented it. Parissa then pointed out he didn't truly have a place to call home and Teddy stated it was for the current time and there was an immediate knock at the door. Teddy then signaled Parissa to hide as he moved to his duffel bag he left in the kitchen and grabbed his service weapon, then approached the door with gun in hand as the knocking continued. Teddy then cautiously opened the door and instead, it was Julia, and saw that she was pregnant with child. Teddy was speechless and expecting an invite, Julia entered the house and when Parissa came out of hiding, Jules could see that Teddy reconnected with her. When Jules asked when Teddy started dating Parissa, Teddy then asked about when she got knocked up. Jules then approached the kitchen as Teddy returned his sidearm to his duffel bag and Parissa congratulated Jules on her upcoming child. Julia then asked Parissa to give her a moment with Teddy, who in turn, told Julia that Parissa was up to speed on everything. Julia was surprised and then asked Teddy why Franklin murdered his father. Teddy then told Julia that Franklin believed that he robbed him of his money. Julia then asked Teddy if that was true. Instead, Teddy claimed it was 'seizing illegal funding on behalf of the U.S. Government.' Julia found that answer ridiculous and gave one suggestion to Teddy; return the money. Teddy refused, and Jules pointed out what a danger he was becoming to those around him, while Teddy acknowledged the situation. Julia then lashed out on how his ego would keep him from walking away from the mess while using the 'patriotic duty' excuse. She then stated that the situation will escalate now that his father is dead. She then blamed him for the downfall of their marriage just to fund a war and stated the only good thing she got out of that marriage was her son, Paul. She then stated that Teddy's hubris and pride will get their son killed and demanded he either return the money and fix the mess or she would fix it. Teddy then asked how Jules would deal with it, and Julia threatened to go public with the operation as she left the house.
