The school excels within the creative arts. The Drama department has a state of the art theatre, and digital editing suite with fully equipped production decks and editing equipment. The Art & Design department, is located in the purpose-built Art Centre located on top with photography darkroom, print-making tools and ceramics kiln.
Feb 16, 2021 · The school day is actually quite short for an independent school, ending at 3.35pm. School coaches leave at 5pm so many stay for clubs and prep, but plenty leave straight after school to catch the train or local bus or parents.

Sir William Perkins's School is an independent day school for girls aged 11 to 18 in Chertsey, Surrey, England. Founded in 1725, it is situated on 13 acres of greenbelt land on the outskirts of Chertsey.
Sir William Perkins, a wealthy Chertsey merchant, founded the School in 1725 to educate the town's children. The School moved it its present site in 1819 and later became one of the first grammar schools in the country to educate girls, becoming a voluntary controlled Grammar School in 1944.
