The younger Townshend was touring behind his debut album, the Pete-produced Sweet Sound, and trying to distance himself from the shadow of his 16-years-older bro.
Simon Townsend is a British writer, director, and actor. He was born on 27 November 1945 in London, England. He is best known for his work on the children's television series, Simon Townsend's Wonder World, which ran from 1979 to 1986.
