Simon Richardson (born 21 June 1983) is a retired professional road racing cyclist from Bristol who last rode for Team IG–Sigma Sport. He moved into media work after retiring and currently works as a presenter for Global Cycling Network.
The 2005 under-23 British MTB champion debuted for GB as a junior in 2001 and has represented his country off-road in World Cups, World Championships and Commonwealth Games.
Richardson was born in 1966 in Porthcawl, Wales, and is the son of John and Diana Richardson. He is married to Amanda and has two sons Ashley and Benjamin. [1] In 2001 he was involved in a car accident which left him with serious leg and back injuries and no feeling down his left hand side. [2]
