- Shut In is a competent and engaging drama thriller that uses its single location premise effectively, yet lacks the right amount of thrills to make it a memorable watch. Rated: 2.5/5 • Jul 25, 2023... recommendable primarily for some organically tense moments between engaging characters, well-realized by the performers.

Nov 11, 2016 · Drama. 91 minutes ‧ PG-13 ‧ 2016. Peter Sobczynski. November 11, 2016. 4 min read. “Shut In” feels like an attempt to follow in the precise footsteps of M. Night Shyamalan, as made by people whose knowledge of his oeuvre is based only upon everything from the last ten minutes of “ Signs ” on.
