Certainly, the age of DVDs and streaming have allowed one to engage with these subtleties on a much more rigorous level with repeat viewings.

This version utilizes a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, with the restoration supervised by Peter Greenaway, and graded for High Dynamic Range (HDR10 and Dolby Vision options are included).
"Drowning by Numbers" is fascinating and a joy to watch - even more so with Severin's 4K UHD a/v that is like seeing the film anew. The commentary and interviews are very worthwhile and we strongly recommend this as a long term keeper.
