- “I say, no one can disprove God exists.” There are two things wrong here. First, it is not clear that this is true. It might actually be possible to prove that God does not exist.
- “For 2500 years, The Bible had it right and science had it wrong.” Josh’s argument to this conclusion is that, while scientists thought that the universe had always existed (they accepted The Steady State theory which says that the universe has an infinite past), the Bible maintained that it had a beginning.
- God Is Why There Is Something, Rather Than Nothing. To make this argument, Josh says “In the real world, we never see things jumping into existence out of nothingness, but atheists want to make one small exception to this rule: namely, the universe and everything in it.”
- God Does Not Need an Explanation Because He Is Eternal. Josh presents this argument in reply to a student who quotes Dawkins: “[I]n his book, The God Delusion , Richard Dawkins says that if you tell me God created the universe then I have the right to ask you who created God.”

I think that movie was made with an agenda from right wingers. They tend to overcompensate in an effort to convert people into Christianity. In the end they tend to go about it the wrong way. God’s not dead and the sequel are good examples of this.

“God’s NOT Dead” is an excellent movie, the plot centered on a student stands up to the misotheist professor (not atheist but misotheist) who is angry with the very idea of God. You can argue Kevin Sorbo’s character Prof. Radisson is an atheist as the initial taking is that he refuses to believe God’s existence.
