Feb 20, 2016 · R8 is razor sharp and way better grip/handling than the 570s. Though I've heard the steering feel on the McL is amazing as its hydraulic. I think the new R8 is electronic assisted so maybe the reviewer is right in saying there's very little steering feedback on the new R8.

Feb 6, 2017 · While it takes a tad more courage to floor the 570S out of a corner than it does the R8, the reward in the turbocharged McLaren is an addictive slingshot towards the next braking point. On that note, both Audi and McLaren specify extremely efficient carbon-ceramic brake discs as standard fitment to the R8 V10 Plus and 570S.
