Dragons are mobs that are both hostile and tameable. They are the main focus of the Ice and Fire mod. Dragons are massive, bipedal reptiles that have massive, leathery wings, as well as the ability to breathe a special element.
There are currently three types of dragons: the Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon and the Lightning Dragon. Fire Dragons breathe fire and can be found in any biome that ranges from a warm to cold climate, Ice Dragons breathe ice and can be only be found in snowy biomes, while the lightning dragon will hunt in crashing thunderstorms.

I admit that I haven't played Ice and Fire, but I know what my instinctive response would be. a} Build a bunker out of some type of material which is immune to dragonfire. I suspect they would have nerfed obsidian, but you could probably find something from a mod which would work.
A dragon found in a cavern is usually a stage 4 or 5, meaning its melee attacks will be much stronger, and it will be able to breathe ice for a longer time. Dragon scale armor and dragon bone weaponry (or possibly even higher) is recommended. Once an ice dragon is killed, its body will remain.

There shouldn't be any mod not compatible with ice & fire, that said, older mods, such as iseedragons, or dragoncrystal, do not work with newer versions of ice & fire. (PS your game crashes is you try and morph out of a dragon or cyclops using morph mod)
Now I know im nowhere near the level to fight a dragon, but I've found some roosts and dens while exploring. I'm wondering when I will be at a level to fight a stage 3, 4, and later 5 dragon? I don't have really any other mods besides Mahou Tsukai.
