I watched the movies before reading the books so I may be slightly biased but I prefer the movies; however, since both branch off from the second instalment onwards, that means I can enjoy two different stories!
Sep 24, 2014 · I read the first book, which is what the movie is about and I haven’t watched the movie yet. I say if you’re planning to read the books, start from the first one, it’s a short book and it won’t take long and I’m sure some things were cut off from the movie.
