I felt really sad to see Abigail and Donovan break up. They were really well matched. I found it really weird that Abigail suddenly started talking about Tuscany, because till season 5 she kept insisting she wanted to stay in Middleton.
Recap on the couples. Abigail & Donovan - there was literally NO reason to end their relationship in the last 10 min of the episode. They could have gone off to Tuscany at the end and we all would’ve assumed they lived happily every after.
The series spends multiple years on Abigail/Donovan only to have them break up - another reason why this episode wasn’t written as a finale. If there was a season 8, Abigail would be returning from her trip.
