The Shillelagh Sisters. Features the then-future Bananarama replacement Jacquie O'Sullivan. Recorded 2 singles for CBS in 1984. In 1993, O'Sullivan, Lynder Halpin, and Boz Boorer (The Polecats, also of Morrissey fame) got together again for a Japanese tour.
Trisha (vocs), Jacqui (sax), Mitzi (drums) and Lynder (double bass; stricken with a raging virus on the day of our meeting and consequently absent) became the Shillelagh Sisters.

Jun 15, 2016 · Old Photo of the Shillelagh Sisters What a great band they were! Helen and the Horns supported them at the Fridge in Brixton and I have a whole pile of these pix somewhere which I'm digging out for Maria, who used to play stand-up drums and who came to the British Library on Friday.
