S.W.A.T. is an American police procedural action drama television series, based on the 1975 television series and the 2003 film adaptation of the same name. Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan developed the new series, [1] which premiered on CBS on November 2, 2017, [2] and is produced by Original Film, CBS Studios and Sony Pictures Television.
