Season 1 of Servant premiered on November 28, 2019 on Apple TV+. The season consists of 10 30-minute episodes and concluded on January 17, 2020. The season was received positively and was renewed for Season 2 before Season 1 had premiered.
An unspeakable tragedy has recently come to the Turners grieving the loss of their young son, grandson and nephew, Jericho, who had died at just three months (thirteen weeks) of age due to his mother's recklessness in middle or late August 2019.
Not able to bring themselves to tell Dorothy Turner the hard truth, Sean Turner, Frank and Julian Pearce have concocted the fabrication of Jericho still being "alive" in the form of a lifelike reborn doll to appease Dorothy's delusion. Upon hiring a nanny six weeks later, mysterious things come to happen around the Turners; the most strange is the reborn doll being "replaced" by a living, breathing infant boy.
