Latest update: 4:00 PM Monday 9 September 2024. GATED DAMS: No gated releases are planned or occurring. UN-GATED DAMS: Due to recent rain in the catchment area, the following un-gated dams are spilling excess water: Wappa Dam. Avoid potential hazards downstream of the dam such as fast flowing or deep water near waterways and floodplains.
These amended levels equate to storage percentages of approximately 80% for Somerset Dam and 90% for Wivenhoe Dam. The amended full supply levels will remain in place until current dam improvement works at Somerset Dam are completed.
