Nov 28, 2020 · Sehnsucht 202, which refers to the number of a contact ad that causes chaos in the lives and hearts of four young Viennese citizens, played by soon-to-be superstar Louise Rainer (The Great Ziegfeld), Magda Schneider (mother of you-know-who), Fritz Schulz (who played the gay love interest in Anders als die andern) and Rolf von Goth (of Metropolis fame). It doesn’t get much better than this.

Oct 2, 2020 · Es ist ein Glücksfall, dass Sehnsucht 202 nun auf DVD erschienen ist. Der Film ist auch 90 Jahre nach Erscheinen immer noch sehr sehenswert. Natürlich ist die Handlung etwas vorhersehbar, aber die Dialoge sind überraschend spritzig und witzig, die Lieder absolute Ohrwürmer, und die Charaktere schließt man sofort ins Herz.
