Dodgers recently drafted former Beckman star Sean McLain in the fifth round – one year after the Cincinnati Reds drafted older brother Matt in the first round, signing him for $4.6 million.

Family and friends gathered Sunday at the McLain house in Tustin to watch the Major League Draft and saw Matt McLain, the former Beckman and UCLA standout, drafted in the first round as the 17th overall pick by the Cincinnati Reds. McLain’s mother Wendi and father Michael were among those on hand.
