2020 Queen’s New Year’s Honours. The following members of the Scouts have been identified as being honoured by Her Majesty The Queen in her 2020 New Year Honours List published on Saturday 28 December 2019, for services to Scouting and/or the community.

- Membership Award. When you make your Scout promise, you'll be given your Membership Award. It features a picture of the fleur de lis - an international symbol, worn by Scouts all over the world.
- Joining In Award. Joining In Awards are given to those who always roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You can collect one for every year you're a Scout, starting from your very first day as a Beaver right up until your last meeting.
- Leadership stripes. Within their Troop, Scouts are part of a Patrol. A Patrol is a smaller group of Scouts, headed up by a Patrol Leader and an Assistant Patrol Leader.
- Moving On Award. Eventually, it'll be time to embrace your next adventure. Explorers awaits.

The Court of Honor is a time for the Troop and their families to honor our Scouts’ accomplishments. This includes awarding rank advancements, merit badges, and other awards along with leadership installations. Troop 123 holds them quarterly in September, December, March and June.
