  1. Oct 5, 2017 · 10,428 ratings912 reviews. Part autobiography, part self help, part confession, part celebration of being a common-or-garden woman, part collection of synonyms for nunny, Sarah Millican's debut book delves into her super normal life with daft stories, funny tales and proper advice on how to get past life's blips - like being good at school but ...

  2. Oct 9, 2017 · Book review by Steve Bennett. Sarah Millican’s first book falls partway between biography and self-help guide. You sense that she’s a modest woman who feels a simple story of her life might be considered arrogant, so tempers those fears with a more altruistic purpose.

  3. Geordie comedian, Sarah Millicans How to be Champion is a hilariously funny and warming part-memoir, part-self help book. From her childhood as the daughter of a mine worker to her adult life as a stand-up comedian, Millican covers all the ups and downs from her life.

Written in a similar style to her stand up shows; Sarah Millican’s first book is inspiring, heartwarming, honest, and of course hilarious.

  8. Sep 10, 2021 · It's not very often I review an older book but I enjoyed Sarah Millican's autobiography How To Be Champion so much that I just had to write about it. I am a big fan of hers and think she's hilarious, and so often spot on with her humorous observations about being a modern woman.
