Sam Bain (born 3 August 1971) [1] [2] is a British comedy writer, best known for the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show. He attended St Paul's School in London before graduating from the University of Manchester, where he met his writing partner Jesse Armstrong. [3]
May 9, 2017 · Peep Show writer Sam Bain has paid tribute to his mother, the actress Rosemary Frankau, after she died aged 84. Frankau, who is best known for playing Beattie in the BBC sitcom Terry and June, died of emphysema two days after her 84th birthday last month.
Sam co-created and co-wrote nine series of the BAFTA-winning Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, and four series of the RTS award-winning comedy-drama Fresh Meat, both for Channel 4.
