   Where to stay in Puerto de la Cruz?

   • We stayed at the adults only Alua Soul Orotave Valley Hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. Our rooms were in the 'extended' part of the hotel, which gave us very easy access to both pools, particularly the very shallow secondary pool, which is only really for cooling off as its not deep enough to swim, but still very welcome under the direct sun!

   Is Tiede a good place to stay in Tenerife?

   • The local area around the hotel has a supermarket, bars, cafes, restaurants and a few gift shops. There are some lovely views of Tiede and the beaches. It's quite a quiet area. Just a lovely relaxing place to stay and area of Tenerife to visit. I would definitely go back.
