Rwanda Action was founded in 2008 by David Chaplin under the name Rwanda Aid, which reflected the needs of the community at that time. By working closely with the community, and listening and learning, we are developing the most effective ways of relieving poverty.
We reach out to the poorest and most vulnerable people in Rwanda to help them realise their rights to services such as food, shelter, work, education and healthcare; and to give them a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
