Friedrich Rudolf Klein (24 November 1885 – 29 May 1955), better known as Rudolf Klein-Rogge, was a German film actor, best known for playing sinister figures in films in the 1920s and 1930s as well as being a mainstay in director Fritz Lang's Weimar-era films.

Rudolf Klein-Rogge. Actor: Metropolis. During the heyday of German silent cinema, Rudolf Klein-Rogge was the prototype for the master criminal, the irredeemable arch villain or mad scientist.
During this period, his wife met and became enamored of Lang, and the two began a romantic affair despite their marriages to others. Klein-Rogge and von Harbou were separated in 1920 and later divorced, while Lang's first wife committed suicide, freeing him and von Harbou to marry in 1922.
