Pushinsky’s candid snapshots taken on the streets of San Francisco document 40 years of politics, fashion, and life in the city. His energetic freeze-frames can be traced to his early years photographing dance and boxing matches.
Ron Anderson’s recent photographs are explorations in alternative printmaking. They begin life as archival inkjet prints whose pigments are then transferred to a traditional watercolor paper. Built one layer upon another they become altered realities of the abandoned spaces he has photographed.
