Roland Clinton “Wink” Winkler. Roland Winkler was a kind soul. A Dancer and Musician, he was paralyzed from the shoulders down at age 19 due to a car accident in 1979 while riding with pop star Leif Garrett. He was confined to a wheelchair for the next 38 years. His love of life, forgiving nature and kind heart inspired many over the years.
