The show is a comedy-drama anthology organized around the Robson Arms, an apartment building in Vancouver, at the fictional address of 951 Pendrell Street. Each of the show's episodes focuses principally on a different tenant of the building, although the core cast members interact in minor roles throughout the series.
Robson Arms follows the lives of the tenants in a once-grand low-rise in Vancouver's eclectic West End. The building is home to an unlikely collection of characters who live under one roof, yet occupy different worlds.
Robson Arms' new owners, Chuck and Trixie Hoskins, hold a meet and greet courtyard party for all the tenants. The Hoskins are Texans recently transplanted from the Mexican desert where they were conferring with a Shamin. They're a little eccentric - they own a sensory deprivation tank - and overly friendly.
Bobbi thinks it's Bobby's co-worker Sasha, the one, as Bobbi calls her, with the overbite and the big mono-brow. Her suspicions are heightened when Bobby needs to go back to Duluth with Sasha among others. While Bobby's away, Bobbi decides to wreak revenge on her husband by seducing and sleeping with another man.
Season three begins as a true blue American, Chuck Hoskins, ( Dave Foley) takes over everyone's favourite building in Vancouver's West End. Together with his wife Trixie and her top secret BBQ rub, he organizes a "meat 'n greet" for our eclectic group of tenants. The new landlords seem as sweet as apple pie - but this pie has a hair in it.
