Jun 17, 2022 · 06/17/22 01:13 PM. 194 posts. I use TripIt on my iPhone to keep track of all my personal reservations and formalized itinerary stuff (flights, trains, ferries, hotels, tours, etc.). Anything that sends me a confirmation, I forward to TripIt, and it does a nice job of (usually), inserting it in the correct itinerary, in chronological order.
Day 5: Explore the Cotswolds, or day-trip via 1.5-hour bus to Stratford, or 1-hour train-plus-bus trip to Blenheim Palace (sleep in Chipping Campden or Moreton-in-Marsh) Day 6: To North Wales by scenic 5–6-hour train (sleep in Conwy) Day 7: See highlights of North Wales on a leisurely train and bus loop (sleep in Conwy)

Figure out your main form of transportation in Europe: Get a rail pass, rent a car, and/or book flights within Europe. You can generally buy rail tickets as you travel, but it can be smart to reserve seats on certain trains before you leave. If you'll be renting a car, check the expiration date on your driver's license and renew it if needed.
