    Richard Poe (born 25 January 1946; age 78) is an actor known for his portrayal of Evek in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. He made all six of his appearances within a year of each other (February 1994 to January 1995).

    Poe starred alongside fellow Trek guest-actor, Kelsey Grammer, in two episodes of Frasier as "Chopper Dave". One of the episodes he appeared in, "Oops", starred John Glover.

    On stage, he is remembered for his roles as John Hancock in the 1997 Broadway revival of the musical "1776" (with Brent Spiner and Michael Cumpsty) and as Hasler in the 2006 Broadway revival of the musical "The Pajama Game" (with Michael McKean).

    Along with Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Armin Shimerman, Patrick Stewart, John de Lancie, Michael Ansara, Michael Dorn and LeVar Burton, he is one of only nine actors to play the same character in three or more different live action Star Trek series.
