Sir Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick was born on 22 November 1428. He was the son of Sir Richard de Neville, 5th Earl of Salisbury and Alice Montagu, Countess of Salisbury. He married Lady Anne Beauchamp, daughter of Richard Beauchamp, 13th Earl of Warwick and Isabel le Despenser, in 1434.
