Parking and access to the trail are provided at each community along the trail. Camping is available in Belmont, Cedar Springs, Howard City, Morley, Paris, Reed City, and Cadillac, and Hersey and Evart (both on the Pere Marquette State Trail). This trail spans from Riverside Park on the north side of Grand Rapids to Cadillac, Michigan. I've only traversed the portion from Riverside to Sand Lake which is approximately 24 miles. This section is all paved and has a very wide berth in Riverside.
