The Tower stands 629 feet high with 41 floors containing 1,400,000 square feet. The site was previously occupied by the Columbus Board of Trade Building and earlier the Buckeye House and the Capital Hotel.
The James A. Rhodes State Office Tower is a 42-story government office facility with a total of 1.2 million square feet. Originally built in 1974 and totaling approximately $66 million. The facility is named in honor of James A. Rhodes, who was elected governor in 1962, 1966, 1974 and 1978.
