Revanche translated to English means revenge, but it isn't a typical revenge story. It brings a welcome twist to a genre that is already oversaturated. At this stage revanche is the only götz spielmann film I've seen, and now I can't wait to see more. The direction is great and the screenplay is, I think, one of the best ever.
