René Obermann (born 5 March 1963) is a German businessman who is co-head of Warburg Pincus International LLC's European operations, [1] and chairman of Airbus SE since April 2020. [2] He was previously (from November 2006 to December 2013) CEO of Deutsche Telekom AG.
René Obermann, based in Berlin, is Co-Head of the firm’s European activities and Head of Warburg Pincus Deutschland GmbH. As a member of the supervisory board of IONOS Group SE, the leading European web-productivity provider, he accompanies one of the major investments of the Warburg Pincus funds.
